When my brother passed away a few years ago, his daughter and son

Wrote the obituary. I don't think anyone ever proofread it for them. It said, "Jackson was proud of his daughter, son, and his classic 1987 restored Chevy pickup in equal measure".

Equal measure?
Classic 1987?

His widow still has it. I'm not sure, but it's probably not too tough to find a new owner who would appreciate a truck with personalized "Jack" airbrushed on the driver side door in south Mississippi.

I'm so sorry you have to feel all this. We have things in our home that belonged to my father-in-law, one of the greatest men I've ever had the privilege to know, love, and be loved by. Some days I can pass by those things and other days, 5+ years later, my eyes land on his shoeshine kit or his reel-to-reel and missing him feels like a physical blow. I wish you didn't have to feel it all. I wish no one did.

1987 classic. Equal measure?! Indeed.
